I am an attorney, writer, editor and teacher in North Carolina. Many years ago when I left the newspaper business to head off to law school I started this blog. Toward the end of my first year of law school, I killed the project because I realized I didn’t have much to say of relevance. I’m not sure if that has changed, but I’m giving it another shot. This go around, the blog will be focused on legal issues in the state that interest me, as well as matters of free speech, open government and my home, the City of Durham.
My thoughts here are my own.
